Hi, I'm Carl, the founder behind Cwtch & Code. The studio exists to create digital products that feel safe, predictable, and genuinely useful for people who benefit from calmer, more accessible digital experiences.

The mission is deeply personal. As a father raising a child with additional needs, I wanted to build digital experiences shaped by real-world family life rather than generic assumptions about accessibility. That lived experience informs the design approach, but the products are intended to feel welcoming and useful for a broad range of people.

By day, I work in IT engineering with NHS Wales, which grounds my approach in security, reliability, and structured systems. At Cwtch & Code, that technical discipline is paired with compassion, calm design, and a commitment to making digital spaces feel more welcoming.
